ACCIPITRIFORMES: Accipitridae

Accipiter novaehollandiae  

Spotted as a white speck lit up by the late afternoon sun in distant trees, investigation revealed a white-morph Grey Goshawk watching out over the intervening paddocks.

This bird became the 500th Australian bird species I have photographed.
